History

BAC Local 1 Nova Scotia was first established on January 16, 1888. In 2008, Local 2 in Cape Breton amalgamated with Local 1 to create one Local for the province. Currently, Local 1 has 235 active members working across Mainland Nova Scotia and Cape Breton. Additionally, we have 50 forty-year members and 25 life members.
